Environment:
Paris reminded me of Chicago a little bit. Mostly due to it feeling like a city city; Crowded, city traffic and smells haha.
It's also interesting how the city is laid out! From the Eiffel Tower, the city looks grided out, made up of triangles from above. 


Food:
Crepes, bakery items, chocolate, ratatouille, wine!  🧀🍷


Fun Facts:
The Eiffel Tower was supposed to be a temporary structure.
It was created for the 1889's World Fair. 
Paris's nicknames are "City of Lights" or "City of Love". 🗼

 Went to the Palais Garnier opera house! 🎤🎵

 
Went to Arc de Triomphe! Also found a restaurant nearby called Le Cristal! Lol ❤️

Europe Trip: Waldkirch & Kandel Mountain, Germany 🌲🚠

It had a street market filled with various shops and food stands! The Elz River (Rhine River) runs through Waldkirch. Food: Raspberry cheesecake, raspberry cake, sausages. Lost Dutchman State Park! Apache Junction, AZ ⛏

Sunny and clear! #DesertLife Rumor has it there was a lost dutchman who discovered gold in this state park! ⛏ He disappeared and the gold was never found! We got there around 5AM with our hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a lot of water. We got there early to avoid the afternoon heat. I think we were done around lunchtime. We went on each path except the hardest; That path goes all the way to the top of the mountain. I will return one day to do that path, when it is safe to do so. Not during the summer months where I risk overheating and running out of water. The views seen on the hike were beautiful! You can really see the surrounding valley landscape on the trails of this park. My parents asked multiple times during the hike "Are you trying to kill us?" lmao! Im proud of them for being able to complete the hike and explore the park. ...
